Hi
I had a colonoscopy 2 weeks ago, they found a 5cm malignant tumour and took biopsies, since having the procedure I’ve had pain in the area where the tumour is ( left side ) pain on the right side ( haven’t been able to lie on either side) then last night pain under my left breast radiating around the side to my back, I haven’t slept at all as lying down makes it worse. I’ve had my CT scan and today I’m having my MRI then hopefully I’ll been seen next week if all my results are in, has anyone else had pain for so long after a colonoscopy? Thank you x
Hi Seashelley. Can you ring the department where you had the colonoscopy and see if they can help you? If not maybe the nurses on here could advise on 0808 808 00 00?
Let us know how you get on?
Karen x
Thank you Karen I’ll ring them after my MRI today x
Hi Seashelley,
My husband was diagnosed with bowel cancer and had a colonoscopy. Until then he had no trouble with constipation, but after that he had to take Lactose to help. I'm sure they disturbed things. I'd ring your CNS for advice..
