I am sorry to hear you are terrified and shocked, that sounds like a completely normal reaction to me, given you are waiting for more information. Take each day as it comes and try not to let your mind race ahead of where you are. Avoid searching the internet and talk to the people around you. There are lot of people who are going to take the very best care of you so don't feel alone or written off.

sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I don’t a have any advice for you other than this group has given me a lot of support and advice since I joined a little over a week ago. The shock you are feeling is very understandable. There are some lovely people here who will support you through this. 

Hi Darcyolly when I was first diagnosed  my doctor said  The next 3 weeks will be the longest in your life.! He wasn't wrong. Your not being a baby. We have all been there. Try to stay busy, don't Ggle your illness, alot of the stuff on line is out of date or false. Talk about how you feel, to family friends and on here, you can do this

Thanks for your reply . I’m inpatient sadly. Always need a answers. Not getting much from the drs at the hospital. But in fairness they probably don’t know 

but they just seemed very cynical

Every minute feels like a lifetime 

and yet I’m scared to have further tests 

I want to stick my head in the sand . I know I can’t do that , but it’s so overwhelming
