Hi all, been to Hospital tthis morning to talk about my next treatment, was told it be about 2 weeks, but had a call this afternoon, and its all go from next week, didnt expect it so quick, now its time to sit & think about the next move, and the nerves will certainly kick in,i will be having the line put into my chest, this is where the treatment will be fed through, from what i understand, was told about the side effects, including hair loss, i was given some leaflets, which i sat and read this afternoon, & its a lot to take in, i understand some of you have been through this, and may not want to talk about it, but any tips would be helpful please, about what the next few weeks, months could be like,
Hope you are all keeping safe .
Thank-you, a very nervous Nannan,
Hi . Do you know what sort of chemo you’ll be having? The port in the chest may sound a bit daunting but it will be so much kinder on your veins. I’ve attached a link to the chemo top tips post and you can always type the name of the one you’re having in the search box to bring up other posts
Hope it all goes well and please keep posting and we’ll help you through this

A lot to process and sounds as though it’s a bit sooner than you anticipated!
It is always a draining day just even hearing all about it !
I hope you get a good rest tonight and a few days taking care of yourself before treatment starts !
