Urostomy and colostomy high grade small bowel obstruction

Thats so rotten  how distressing for him ! He has been through so much recently . Must be very hard for you to see him in such pain !

I do hope they can get it resolved without surgery ! Do you know when they will decide ?

Hi still not resolved and theyve mentioned cancer could be back again mri going to be discussed at mdt meeting on wednesday im hoping its not the case as his margins were clear and hadnt spread anywre else after his pelvic exenteration they are putting  adouble picc line in and tpn feed tomorrow as hes lost a lot of weight if the cancer is back this will be 3rd time in 2 years

Seriously hope it’s not that and just a bit of swelling ! 
Such a lot of stress on top of it all ! Hope tomorrow’s procedure helps with the feeding aspect ! 
I think after so much surgery it could be easy not to get a clear vision on what’s going on !

Hi so he went for surgery today to remove blockage and take biopsies ..unfortunately they couldnt get to the blockage as his pelvis was stuck with adhesions so they have had to bypass the blockage  and create another route for food and fluid to get through couldnt take biopsies either so still dont know if its cancer again he is now in itu hopefully i can go see him tomorrow xxx thank you for your good wishes xx

I wondered about the adhesions aspect  it was around a similar time line when my mum started having issues . But if they have been so complicated it explains a lot of his pain !

It also sounds quite a complex surgery he has had but let’s hope it eases things for him !

They cant operate so i dont know what they are planning he has already had a tame and a pelvic exenteration and a bowel bypass he is currently still in itu prognosis doesnt look good although his scans show its not spread anywhere else b
