Have had treatment for a T3 mo/no colon cancer, had chemoradiation last year, had complete response from this January this year. A few weeks latter an incidental find 1 liver mett had radiofrequancy ablation in April. Clear scans in July. Went for a colonoscopy and they have found a small cancerous polyp. I’ve had a bad back and leg pain for a few weeks put down to sciatica. Still waiting on the MDT hope to find out what’s happening. I have over the last week and a bit got so low and scared because I can’t find anything about cancerous polyps at a years colonoscopy. All my specialist nurse says it’s not unheard of so I’m getting so scarred because it doesn’t seem common. Can anyone help? Nelly55
Hi Nelly1955. I just dropped by and noticed you've not had a reply to your post as yet. This is a very busy group and your post must have moved down the listings I'm sorry to say. By my answering it'll "bump" to up to the top of the threads so hopefully someone will be along soon to answer, I've a different type of cancer so can't advise I'm sorry to say.
Sending you all the best, B xx

Thank you so much for replying MrsBJH..I’ve just had last Sunday another colonoscopy, I seem to get all the Sunday appointments, I’m thinking of calling myself Sunday girl! This time I was handed a report that says I have a deep submucosal invasion and a lot of medical stuff so I think it is cancer reaccurance. Hope you are doing ok sending hugs xx
Hello… I am so sorry to hear you are feeling scared and no wonder, you seem to be in limbo waiting for results and answers. I have been diagnosed with T3N0MO and about to start chemotherapy on Monday which I feel ok about now but the weeks of waiting to find out results for diagnosis and treatment plan where the horrific, it’s like mental torture. I really hope you hear very soon and you get the information you need to move forward. Sending a huge hug x
