Hi all, I had a right hemicolectomy surgery close to four weeks ago and I'm still having same symptoms of feeling like I haven't emptied the bowel fully and also feel constipated. I was advised to drink lots of water but this doesn't seem to be helping and laxatives were discouraged. Has anyone experienced this? Asking for help!
Hi Berttz, had same op as you 3yrs ago, I have always tended towards constipation. I find very RIPE banana on wholemeal toast and 2cups of coffee for breakfast works for me. Coffee is supposed to be
laxatives also ripe bananas, but unripe bananas can course constipation. Take care
