Has anyone had their Surgery cancelled due to being Covid Positive 3 days prior to being admitted to Hospital?
This is someone who is full Jabbed x2 no or very mild symptoms.

My wife hasn't been tested yet. I've had 2 x Lateral Flow Tests and they've been negative.
I was just trying to find out if Surgery would be cancelled if she tests positive in 3 days time. Even if she's asymptomatic.
Hi I think they would cancel her as they have to consider post op care and where they would recover . Some emergencies still go ahead and the staff are all made aware but I think they prefer to prevent it where possible.
