Possible Liver Recurrence -

Hope it’s just a benign nodule but will tag in Nelly1955 she has had RFA for a solitary liver met and can Hopefully help you .

My mum had to have a second resection as four popped up the second time . Got to 1 cm each within three months of her first resection but that was the last she had and ten years clear now .

Hopefully it’s nothing but if so I hope the treatment removes it for good !

Also the speed of growth is interesting. My mum always had fast growing big liver mets but the one on her lung took a full two years to grow from 2 mm to 8 mm ! So strange isn’t it ?

Ah thanks for this it is very strange but somehow I find the non uniformness of it all bizaarely comforting and it sort of alleviates my anxiety. 

Hi Elley019, as Court said I had 1 liver mett , this was an accidental fined. I had radiofrequancy ablation. I went in and was given a GA. once under you are placed in a ct scanner which guides the needle. I stayed in overnight. About 4 weeks later I had a liver scan, the dr. Said he was pleased and it went well. I had follow up scans just over a week ago and waiting on results.  Send best wishes Nelly xx
