Went for my chemo today and after been there an hour my oncologist said I couldn't have it due to low potassium magnesium and sodium so fluids of potassium and magnesium.
What a roller coaster this is we have a face to face with my oncologist after six he's thinking of stopping it now.
Not sure how I feel is it enough? Is it shorting my life ?
I had stage 3 sigmoid cancer removed in jan this year 26 lymph removed one possibility two they debated,so decided on mop up as a precaution,my surgeon and oncologist both said I was caner Free thing that's at the back of my head for how long who can predict?
My head is spinning
Oh HazG
Know wonder you have been feeling rough . My mum’s potassium dropped and she ended up quite ill with it so glad you are getting it sorted .
I think you can only trust that the oncologist is weighing up the risks against the benefits and feels it the right balance to strike .
Do you know the percentage increase of having chemo . You could ask the oncologist as that might reassure you .
Take care ,
