Hi, I'm new here. Just wanted to share a blog post my Mum has wrote about an introduction to living with a stoma: livingwithstoma.blogspot.com/.../introduction-to-living-with-stoma.html
It's been nearly 11 years now since she was diagnosed with bowel cancer and at the beginning she has said she would have benefited from talking to someone in her position, which is why she is starting up this blog.
Hope this read helps someone who is in the early stages of having a stoma. And if there's anything else we think is worth discussing, I'll ask my lovely Mum to write another blog about it!
Cheers,
Ellie
Welcome
Thank you so much for posting this ! I will have a read and bookmark it as a resource for others! That is very thoughtful of you and your mum . Certainly for me when people ask I always try and bring in someone with experience to the conversation.
Thank you once again .
