Just received the phone call from one of my Colorectal Team Nurses...to let me know that my CT scan (2 weeks ago,) was 'All Clear & Stable.' Following Bowel Cancer in May 2019, & Lung Cancer in March 2020.
Just wanted to share this wonderful news to all who know me here...yet also, hoping that it may help some of those here that are currently going through a very harrowing time of initial diagnosis. It's been a long hard journey.....& I will never be complacent to think that it will ever be over. However, right now, it's very positive news for me....that can apply to anyone else here!
But obviously, I will be having six monthly scans/ blood tests - prob. for the next five years. There will always be those anxious times - yet also, how wonderful that the NHS follow us cancer sufferers religiously!
I will always be following this wonderful forum...& hope to give advice where I can...if any or your questions relate to some of my experiences.
Many best wishes to all...& many thanks to all who answered my queries over the past two years.
