Hi ,
just been diagnosed with bowel cancer , got my last scan tomorrow, just so worried, just keep thinking when did it start , suffer quite badly with anxiety, had a nervous belly for years, is it normal to feel like this and think like this
Hi and welcome to the board. This waiting for scans, results, meetings etc. is very stressful but once you have a plan in place then things will feel a little better.
Bowel Cancer is notoriously slow growing but very treatable - the fact that you’ve had a nervous belly for years may well be down to your anxiety rather than bowel cancer? I won’t say try not to worry but try to focus on getting fit and healthy for the treatment that lies ahead?
Stay away from google - it is out of date and downright scary in places - you can ask anything you want on here - there is nothing too daft or embarrassing
Take care
Karen x
It just seems , my belly and bowel movement are all over the place, like you said Karen once I know the plan ,hopefully it will settle me down x
