Phone call this morning cancelling my surgery. I only had my pre admission assessment yesterday! I was all reconciled with the 1June now I don't know how long I will have to wait. I'm so worried and dissapointed.
Hi Quilter101, so sorry you had your surgery cancelled. Last July I ha d mine cancelled on the day. I don’t know how I got out of the hospital. I know the medical staff are wonderful but do they realise what emotional upset it brings hope they give you another date soon. Sending lots of hugs xx
Sorry to hear your op has been cancelled. This is an added stress to what is already a stressful time. I had my op on 28/4. There were 6 of us in my ward who had similar ops, 2 had had their first date cancelled ! Try and use the extra time to get as healthy as possible and protein load. Good luck with your new date xXx
