I have my first CT full body scan tomorrow, after 3 mths. since my last procedure, which was a Lung Ablation at Bournemouth Hospital. I can't describe the wonderful freedom of no Appts/ Blood Tests/ Interventions of any kind for the past 3 mths....It's been so much freedom...after a 2 year journey, having been diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in April '19 & going through Operations & Chemo.
Obviously it's so good that all us cancer sufferers get looked after afterwards.....but it seems that the journey goes on & on - & every Scan we have to endure will produce anxiety.
