Since bowel cancer surgery a week ago I have restless legs at night. Not able to sleep. Take 2 paracetamol 500gm before bed. Does anyone have advice?
Hi ,
I have seen posts before . So many causes for it but a quick call to your GP or our helpline staff might get some assistance . 0808 808 0000
Some people have reported it whilst on chemo !
Hope you can get something to help quickly and get you a much deserved rest .

horrible isn’t it! As court says, there are many causes. When I had it it was partly meds and part,y low iron levels. Once I had an IV infusion(can’t tolerate oral iron) it cleared up. There are good meds to treat it too, so your GP or team should be able to help, again as court says. Good luck.
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
I've suffered from this for years - long before the bowel cancer. I spoke to a chemist who recommended I drink Tonic Water containing Quinine. This is usually the cheapest on the shelf, the Supermarket own brand, so check the ingredients label before you buy. I take a small bottle to bed, but instead of that last cup of tea at night, I have a glass of tonic water. It really works. Best wishes
