Just had a phone call from an Oncologist at Ryl. Bournemouth Hospital to say that my Lung Ablation worked last month, as my CT Scan last Friday showed no evidence of the two Lung Nodules..& that right now, I am clear of both Bowel & Lung Cancer!! I have cried a bit in the last hour. I phoned my daughter, & she did also. I never expected such good news!
It's been an 18mth long very hard cancerous journey..but right now, (Especially when living alone, as I do.) But I'm now officially cancer free!! Obviously I will be having scans every so often....but I appreciate that I will still be looked after!
But, for the time being, there's no Chemo/ Appts/Letters (that I dread opening,) & 3 weekly blood tests.
She just said, 'Go ahead & enjoy your life!'
If I can do it...so can you!
