Hi all
hope everyone is well during these difficult times.
how are people managing to keep busy whilst having long waiting times while waiting to be treated in hospital?
Hi
Welcome to the forum !
Good question ! Strategies to keep your mind from wandering are always welcome . Have you come up with anything yourself ?
I think I read Technical guru was still fitting in some fishing !

Hi and a warm welcome to the board from me too! Yes the waiting for scans, meetings, results is very stressful and I’m afraid I have no magic answer.
i carried on working during my treatment which was a distraction. I also nominated my mum to be the family point of contact for updates rather than me having to answer numerous calls from people asking if I’d had any results/ appointments so I wasn’t constantly being reminded of things - well meaning but now is the time to be selfish and look after number 1.
Would you like to fill in your profile page so we know a little bit about you? Do you have any hobbies? Keeping your fitness levels up is always a good idea so you could maybe wrap up warm and do a little walk via the coffee and cake takeaway shop of course. Is there any series on television that you could settle down to watch?
Hope you find something to help you pass the time and it will hopefully pass quickly.
Take care
