My husband had an operation on the 16th September for colon/bowel cancer turmor was so big at a stoma in the large bowel. Had two heart attacks and a small stroke. Not able to have chemo due to the heart been home two weeks from a local hospice.
Been told he has short months to live. Does anyone know but that means.
Life feels surreal at the moment but would love the question answered above
Hi
So sorry to hear about your husband. He has had such a lot to deal with and you too supporting him .
It is very difficult to predict life expectancy but if it would be a help you might like to phone our helpline 0808 808 0000 . It is completely confidential and they might be able to help you with your questions. . They have information leaflets and can access information that could give you a better understanding .
I assume you are wanting to be better prepared and understand what lies ahead for you both . It certainly helps to consider all aspects .
Take care ,
