Sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. Waiting for all the information is hard but reducing the fear is what we are all about here and hopefully support you through this difficult stage .
Hopefully some people will pop on and let you know their own experience . They will have an individual treatment plan for you . Some go straight to surgery and some have a combination for chemo / radiation. Etc . They will tailor it to suit you .
Have you been given information booklets about rectal cancer ? If not I could add some for you to help you prepare if you would find that useful . Macmillan has a few publications . But it’s not for everyone .
