Anxious wait

• Hi, this limbo waiting is the worst, I imagine waiting times after scans vary from hospital to hospital, my husband was scanned on a Friday and was hoping for an appointment on the following Tuesday, but it was another week after that. The Consultant was waiting for results from other tests to put it all together, maybe this could be the case? Hopefully someone will pop along on this forum and give more of an incite . Hang in there, try and keep busy, I hope you get your appointment very soon x

Hi I was scanned on 9th Nov and I will get my results on 23rd Nov on my Oncologists clinic day and after the MDT. I too hoped that it would be a week earlier but the secretary forgot to book my appointment until I chased her. Horrible horrible anxious times for sure.

I have a CT Scan tomorrow & will probably get the results when I see my Oncologist on the 25th Nov. Yes, it's always a very anxious time.

Hi I’ve had the worst day today had a melt down it really hit me but the good news is I have a meeting next Tuesday I do have colon cancer but thankfully it hasn’t spread I feel relieved at least with that thank you for listening and replying 

It is such a stressful time, the waiting, we are just one meeting ahead of you, and everyone who replied said you'll feel better once you have your plan, which I think is true as you're on the way to treatment. We are finding keeping busy is a great help, never had such a clean house and the dogs have never had such long walks! Take good care, hope you get answers on Tuesday xx
