Well, I've just had the 72hr trace taken off. Now a wait for results which could be 3 to 4 weeks!! Still I don't expect it to show anything. Waiting for an echo before the respiratory team will see me, so more waiting. I just want to breathe!
This popped up again, its that time of year, so thought I'd share... I really like it.
That’s beautiful Gemmary . Hope we are always able to pass that message on to the next generation .
Gosh that’s a lot of waiting on tests . The implications from Covid are only really surfacing now . My hairdressers friend was experiencing breathlessness and also happened to work in a cardiac unit . She discovered she has been left with a bit of fluid around her heart . I think they said it will eventually go but she had Covid right at the start of the first lockdown . I am in this week so will ask how it is now . My hairdresser caught it from her and I could hear this asthmatic type wheeze from her as she was working . Never heard her like that before .
On the corona front we seem to be stabilising a bit up in Scotland . Hope it’s the same elsewhere .

Good afternoon to everybody, the picture is of Croxteth park in West Derby, Liverpool. The new lockdown seems to have brought a return of the sunshine. It's good to read people's news, which is largely good, Court's Mum typifies it.
Well we're into the second lockdown, although for Liverpool it follows a month in tier 3 so for us there are few major differences. The whole city testing programme/experiment is also well underway and seems to have been a success. There is much scepticism in the city to anything connected with the Tory party, and Johnson in particular and they have called upon the 'big guns,' such as Jugen to promote it. If the persuasion scale goes from 1 - 10, it was turned up to 11 this morning when they got Kenny to encourage people.
Nobody is quite as revered in the city as much as Kenny Dalglish. He was quite simply the best footballer I have ever seen. In 1989 he literally held the club together following Hillsborough and the families still praise the work he & Marina did for, and on behalf, of the families. What is not so discussed is the families commitment to cancer work. It began with the Marina Dalglish Centre at Aintree hospital, primarily for women with breast cancer. Last year Kenny & Marina personally donated 1.25m to Broadgreen hospital to fund a new Davinci robot for the treatment of bowel, kidney & prostate cancer. This year saw a new £17m state-of-the-art, purpose built facility offers cancer patients living north of the River Mersey improved access to treatment. It is delivering radiotherapy treatments as well as expert cancer rehabilitation and support services. The Marina Dalglish Appeal supported the project, contributing more than £3m towards the development.
Covid numbers in Liverpool are interesting, or I’m just very sad. On 07/09 there were 50+ cases, by 07/10 they were an eye watering 580+. Now I wonder what happened in October in a city with three universities that could have caused such a rise? The student population in Liverpool is not evenly spread through the city, it concentrates on the city centre and the Smithdown Road arterial route out of the city centre; most students have lived near the latter me included in my final year when I lived in a student house on Penny Lane, yes THAT Penny Lane. Students were largely asymptomatic but it quickly spread int the local population producing figures in excess of 678 per 100k. Today they are down to 259 which is still worrying but is far more encouraging than a month ago.
Every household in the city are receiving 3 C19 test kits that are to be returned by post. Yesterday of course saw the fantastic news from Pfizer, Times-radio tipped ‘dry ice‘ shares this morning.
YNWA (Huge point at City on Sunday - well done lads)

That’s amazing . I never knew anything about their work . They must have gone about that quite quietly. A surprise like that is always encouraging. Nice to thing about how they have supported the funding of the robotic arm .
It is very windy here today ! Enjoying watching the trees swaying .
Very interesting to hear how the mass Covid testing is going . Sometimes the headlines are so misleading !
I had to phone my GP the other week . I think I said before he is a family GP for around thirty years . You know I actually found the phone appointment easy . It was a straightforward issue and we chatted for a bit and he sent the prescription to the chemist ! I get there are times when you need to see the GP and they would need an in person review but for this type of contact I think it’s great ! Hope this part stays as we move forward .
Will we all adjust to socialising again ? . I have to admit some parts I will love to embrace again . Others not so much ! But to be able to have friends and family over again will be perfect . I will look forward to that the most .
Just daydreaming really !
Have a good day !
