Not posted on here for a while as been having my chemo and finding it hard going, thankfully I am on my last round and the oncologist has just phoned to tell me that my scans show it has worked really well which is good news. I do have a blood clot which I am now on blood thinners for, not nice. I have an appt with surgeon today so hopefully will get a date for my surgery.

I have found the chemo really hard going and this round am finding it very hard to eat and seem to be living on soup. Can anyone recommend anything they found easy to eat.

I may not have been posting but have found this group really helpful during my chemo and thankyou for that.

    Hi Mrs_Jackie

So pleaded to hear that you have finished your chemo and that it has worked for you and you can now have your surgery.  I also hope that you will soon be able to come off your blood thinners.

Chemo is hard for many of us, I found it hard especially as I became noire tired with each treatment.

Food can be a problem, one of my specialist nurses told me to eat what I fancied, little and often rather than big meals.  I found that things that were easy to eat were best for me, scrambled eggs, cheese and potato pie, rice  pudding and, as you say, soup. I had porridge, made with water, with a little honey for breakfast.

Take care, and let us know how you are going on and when you have your date for surgery.
