ileostomy reversal

My husband had an ileostomy in June 2019 and following chemotherapy is now waiting for an appointment to have his ileostomy reversed. Does anyone know if reversal surgery has started again as it is now more than 6 months since he was told he would be able to have a reversal.

    It is certainly happening here in Scotland or some parts at least . Worth sending an email to the consultants secretary to see if that’s the case con your location.

    Hope it all goes well for him . Sounds as though he has made a good recovery .
