Just checking to see if we are all finding our way around the site . 
I have been through a few platform changes over the years here and it always takes me time to adjust .

    I think you end up with test fatigue. After propping up waiting rooms for over 30 scans for my mum I  think I have developed a total anxiety to getting anything checked myself . At a clinic recently the lovely lady said I may attend another clinic and I honestly nearly headed out the room and thought you will need to catch me first . I endure it because I know it’s best for my health but honestly this waiting on results and tests it’s plain old hard on the nerves Over time . Once you put a bit of space between it , it can be hard to have any association with the memories.

  • Hi court! I'm really struggling with the new site. Lol! I think I pm'd you the other day but for the life of me tonight I can't find out how i did it?? And I've got a little red circle top right of screen (on my phone) which I assume is a notification but nothing happens when I click on it? Well actually it takes me right back to the beginning, where I have to log in again! I've written replies to people and either had them stuck in the box without sending, or somehow sent them twice? In varying stages of completion, lol. Messages freeze as I write too. And what's this new "vote up /vote down" is that the new like button?? Augh feeling frustrated ha.

    I will feed that back to the admin team . The little red circle Red circle at the top with arrow should reveal your PMs and previous comments . 

    Let me check out what the arrows are again . I have a feeling they are temporary. But I preferred the like button !! I also don’t like the down arrow . That’s a bit too rude for me . I am just putting that out there . Ha .

    I think there might be a bit of an issue where it logs you out after a period of time . If you log back in again your content should remain in the box for you to send . The tech team are working on that one . I had it too and thought I had sent it . The tech team are behind the scenes and we are passing all the glitches onto the admin for them to raise to iron it all out . It took me a few days to get my head round the changes too and I am still getting there . I have had a few platform changes over the years and I am like this with everyone then it settled. 

    I will let them know about the double posts and freezing issues . Another poster is finding similar issues so I will contact them right now .

  • All reported  my page had a wee freeze and I had to log back out / in to report it .

    I will let you know what is said or they may contact you directly .

  • Hi Court. I logged in on my laptop and can read and reply to posts as mentioned in my private message. The ipad may be ok as well but I haven't looked yet! Just had to tell you I'm back and thanks for your support. WFTC. Lol.

  • P.S. The ipad doesn't show replies but the laptop does. The fanclub now has two foundation members. 

  • P.P.S They wrote back to me and asked a few questions, but to my elderly brain it's my ipad which is at fault. I mean, if the laptop works and the ipad doesn't, then .....? Actually a few other things have stopped working on the ipad recently: Sky Go, Online shopping, parts of Ancestry (quite a bit of Scottish) and now this site. I've been assured that a new one will solve everything, but I'm a bit nervous to take the plunge in case I mess it up completely. Hire a Geek maybe. (I use Geek as a compliment.)

  • I am starting to think the device you use to access it matters . Apparently some people have had success with clearing their cookies for Macmillan. I think it was confusing the old site ! Does that make any sense ?? 
    iPhone seems to be great with it now so I will stick to that but I think it’s causing a few teething problems .
