After 30 years I saw my team lift the trophy tonight. Liverpool would have won the title if I was watching or not, I wouldn't have seen it without the NHS. Last year I boiled alive with my son in the Wanda Metropolitano watching Hendo lift the Champions League, tonight I stood in my lounge watching us lift the Prem rather than in my usual spot in the Main stand. On both occasions I thanked the staff at the Royal Liverpool University hospital I might not have seen either, definitely not both, without them.
At the time of diagnosis it is so hard to think beyond the now, but thanks to the NHS there is a future and it brings great things. For any recent newbies don't think it's the end 'at the end of the storm there's a golden light,' tonight was one for me, there will be others for you.
YNWA (So pleased we did it with style)

I stood on the Kop during all the glory years. I watched the presentation tonight with my son and tears tears in my eyes. Our elder boy never made it to see this. Mixed emotions, but feeling great . Champagne bottle empty. YNWA. Best wishes.
