Hi everyone
Had stage 2 bowel 4 yrs ago just surgery no chemo radio.
Colonoscopy this week showed flat polyp pitt size 2 capillary type 1. What on earth does this mean. Found in the transverse colon. Have been bleeding but I'm putting this down to a delightful stage 1 hemmaroid they also found. This prob caused by the regular clean out I have to do. Oh the Joy's!
So, currently awaiting results which means stress and lack of sleep. What sort of questions should I be asking whether it's good or bad news?
Hi ,
I had a wee photo to load up for you which describes the process but it won’t load . Ever polyp is characterised under the PITT classification. From 1 upwards . If you google the Pitt classification you can see your nearer the start of it from what I can work out . I think it would reassure you a bit until you can chat it through with your team . Or you could try our helpline 0808 808 0000
Take care ,
