Today's Liverpool park is Festival gardens, beside the river it's the only surviving remnant of the 1980's Garden Festival. Was there this afternoon when I had a phone call asking if I was free for surgery next week. It's to rectify an incisional hernia from the original cancer surgery and generally tidy up. It's a real sign that life is getting back to normality when routine surgery is back on the menu.
Was disappointed that the guy who urinated on the memorial was described using the pre modifier 'football fan..' try 'far right extremist' which at least would be correct.

Hi Mike ,
Another fantastic photo !
So pleased to hear the NHS is starting to carry out routine operations ! It’s coming back to life ! Hope it all goes well for you .
I noticed our press made mention of “football hooligans " too! Given they were not at a football match I thought “ hooligans “ was probably sufficient!
My guys are on countdown now to see some live footie !
We are still slowly coming out of lockdown !
Take care ,
