Morning all
Thought I’d share some good news with you all - my scan has come back clear yay! I got an appointment through for a colonoscopy in August which puzzled me slightly so I rang my lovely nurses who said that the surgeon had requested it as ‘he was looking at your scan and realised that you are coming up to year 4 when you are due a colonoscopy.’ I was surprised that the scan results were there as, in the past, they’ve been sent off for interpretation and taken 3+ weeks. Anyway she said there was nothing on the scan that he wouldn’t expect to see post surgery and no mets. So that’s 3.5 years cancer free.
So I’m going back to work today!!!! The director asked on Thursday if I would be happy to go back in and I said yes as long as there were the recommended safety measures in place so they’re going to move my desk so I’m facing the window (which will be nice) although I’ll have my back to the room (which will be odd.) The guy who moves all the PCs about was off on Friday so it might not be done until lunchtime today but I said I’d just do the filing or something. I then got a text an hour later off my friend in the office to say that they’re all that excited about me coming back that they’ve done my desk and it’s ready and waiting bless them! - just hope I can remember what to do.
The solicitors are back at work now too so hopefully we will see some movement on the house move situation. Been quite an evenful week really.
Hope you’ve all had a good weekend - the weathers looking good for this week too
Take care

Hi Karen
Great news about your scan results and that you are going back to work.
Sounds like you have caring colleagues, but be careful sitting facing the window, especially if its south facing as I had problems with my eyes sitting facing a window using a PC.
Hopefully there will be more good news about your house move too.
Take care,
VickiLynne x
