Hi all. I am lucky enough to have been through chemo, radiotherapy and my op and given cancer free a month later with a stoma bag. My wife has had to put up with my huge mood swings, temper, anger crying and she has put up with everything. I will probably understate this but she has been my bedrock. I can't walk far as my breathing is bad as a consequence of the cancer (coming good though) but this has placed a lot more responsibility on her. I could go on. Please please please tell everyone you know they also suffer. Not only does she put up with me but suffers from seizures too, my hero
Hi Peter
So true, I sometimes think it is harder for those we love to watch us going through treatment. My girls were a tower of strength to me, and my dear husband, coping with his Parkinson's and in the early stages of dementia, was so understanding and kind and I know at times I was very difficult to live with. We forget that they are scared too and worried about us and trying their best not to show it and they support us so well, even when we are anxious and stressed.
I am sure she knows how much you love and appreciate her help.
I hope your breathing improves soon, just gong for little walk every day, but doing a few yard more each time often helps.
Take care and I send you and your wife a hug.
VickiLynne
