Good morning
I was due to start my second cycle of Capox yesterday, but had a call from my oncologist to say that I need to wait a week as my bloods showed raised liver function (I think.... Definitely something to do with my liver.... Sometimes it's hard to remember and take everything in, especially in a telephone consultation).
I wondered if anyone else has had experience of this, and if I can expect this every cycle. I was assured it was to do with the chemo drugs, not the wine and cider I have been enjoying on my week off!!
This morning I feel a bit nauseous and cold. Worst I have felt since I stopped this round of capecitabine.
Sorry, its a small issue; guess I'm just looking for reassurance!
Thank you.
hi Raspberry
Don't worry about stopping your chemo, it happens to a lot of us, it did to me two or three times and I had all my treatment, it just went on a little longer than planned.
Have a word with your Cancer Specialist Nurse or Key Worker about feeling nauseous. It has gone much colder over the few days and I'm feeling the cold, as are one or two of my friends, but mention that too when you speak to your CSN or KW.
Take care,
VickiLynne
Thank you. Got myself mentally ready so was hard to accept the postponement! I will definitely call if the nausea continues.
