Boris Break Tit-bits our day Friday 1st May
Good morning
It used to be a tradition in Edinburgh to climb Arthur's Seat. an extinct volcano, and wash your face in the May dew,
In your part of this country do you have a May day tradition that is still carried on to this day, although for some 2000 years could this be the first year that early morning celebrations won't take place, nevertheless normally how would the first day of May have been celebrated.
The great debate on wearing face masks continues and I believe I heard the Prime Minister hint that as we come out of lockdown masks should be worn.
Some local authorities are reporting that face masks and gloves are not been disposed of properly and be dumped anywhere which kind of defeats the object if soiled items are being left anywhere by the public.
Yesterday was a day for sitting watching the rain fall and for a short time it came down with vengeance, of course this deprived me of my daily exercise of walking outside to put the recycling in the respective boxes, just over a week since they were last emptied and all are almost full just don't where it all comes from.
Reetpetite58 you must crochet at some pace in you can do so many water bottle covers in a short time. Gemmary in your busy schedule of yesterday did you manage to find the photograph.
When the material appears next week how many garments will you make.
Did you finish the quiz so that I can ask Karen to publish the answers and set the next one, that is if she's up to it.

Yey, got most of the dogs, and most of the trees!
Not a fantastic photo, but here goes.
Part of it. By any means Not a dainty patchwork, each square is about 8" but uses up otherwise scrap, and means something to the recipient - she was over the moon. There are some names etc embroidered which you cannot see.
Rain might have finally stopped, so may see if I can go for a walk.
Gemmary That’s fantastic. What a lot of work you have put into that .
Kareno62 . I am doing better with the trees . Ha . Keep it coming .
So it’s a big night in here . Rhubarb sponge and a cup of tea . Think might be on to a winner with his supply at the end of the garden !
Also looking forward to seeing the water bottle holders . That sounds very interesting.
We went a bit upmarket last night at our clap . A neighbour played “Somewhere over the rainbow “ on his violin in the middle of the road . Felt my eyes filling up .
So calories it is then !
Hope MrS Bodach is making a good recovery!
