Hi I have been diagnosed with rectal cancer today. I'm 45 and have to small children and I'm scared . Had my symptoms since last year had colonoscopy in December and they diagnosed solitary rectal ulcer. But my symptoms gave been getting worse so they did some more biopsies and here I am.
Welcome . I am so sorry to hear that . However I am glad you have reached out to us and hope we can offer you support as you navigate through this early stage .
The good news is we have had many people of a similar age to you who have passed through here and are now back firmly taking charge of their lives and putting all this in their rear view mirror .
People report feeling a lot more reassured and in control when they get a treatment plan put in place .
Please feel free to ask any questions . Other people will hopefully pop on and reassure you too .
Take care,
Court
