I have just received the results of my CT scan following bowel surgery in June 2019 and six months of chemotherapy which ended in January 2020. The scan apparently shows what they are calling a benign stomach ulcer but have just had and endoscopy to make sure it is nothing 'sinister' before next scan in June prior to hopefully reversal surgery of a stoma. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced issues with stomach/dudodenum following chemotherapy? All thoughts gratefully received!
I sometimes think they are just incredibly thorough with the care . My mum has been scanning for ten years and has had all kinds of things thrown up that they have sent her for to eliminate. None have turned out to be anything to worry about but she has had quite a battery of tests . Although it’s bothersome I do think it’s for the best in the long run but I do sometimes feel sorry for her .
Hope you are continuing to keep well .
