Well what can I say had my op last Friday to remove these lung nodules.
They were taking 2 wedges fro. Left lung.
I was brought round In critical care to be told they couldn't do keyhole so had to have open surgery was in theatre 5.5 hours.
Was discharged yesterday feeling rather pissed of, low in mood and in alot of pain and still don't know if nodules were 100 percent bowel mets

Oh no . That’s such a shame they could not do key whole surgery. What a difference for you .
No wonder you feel low if you have an extended recovery to come through . A sore area to heal .
When do you see the surgeon for the results ? Have you got good pain relief ?
Hoping it picks up super quickly for you .
Thinking of you ,

Hi Bud
I have been thinking about you this week. It sounds tough but you got through it and now you just have to heal (again). I guess they are never sure until the get the b*stards under the microscope whether it is cancer again. I just hope that the worst of it is over now and you get to enjoy the rest of your life. Wishing you a speedy bump free recovery from now on.

Aw Bud I feel for you, it’s hard enough to have what’s planned but then to wake up to even more must have been a downer for you. The positive is that you are on the other side of the surgery now, your home and your job now is to heal well and build yourself back up again, tough I know but you will get there. Slow process it seems sometimes, others have said keeping a journal of your progress helps you see just how far you have come.
my best wishes to you and take good care xx
Hi Bud 18
I just read your post and wanted to offer some support. I can’t imagine expecting keyhole surgery, and waking up to be told you’d had open surgery. You have every right to feel pissed off. I hope that is the last surgery you have to face. If anyone tells you that you should be grateful to be alive, try to resist the temptation to punch them! Wishing you all the best going forward.
Fingers crossed lol I don't think I can cope with much more, xxxx
