I hope this is ok to share?.......a member of the Bowel cancer uk forum has raised a post about those who have died with Bowel cancer in the last year and is going to draw up a list of names and he is going to light a candle this evening in remembrance. Other members are joining him in lighting a candle too tonight.
below is a copy of his post, maybe it is something that members of this forum might like to consider joining in with it to. In remembrance & Hope.
Please join me on Monday evening (30 December) in lighting a candle of remembrance and hope.
In REMEMBRANCE of those we’ve lost to cancer over the past year and in HOPE that the wonderful advances in treating cancer continue so more and more of us can defy the odds.
Hey, thanks for sharing this. It's totally cool to spread the word about lighting a candle for those we've lost to cancer. It's a beautiful way to honor their memory and keep the hope alive for progress in cancer treatment.I'm down to join in on Monday evening and light a candle, too. It's a small gesture, but it means a lot. Plus, it's nice to know we're all coming together in solidarity.I recently stumbled upon some Canadian candles that could make a perfect gift for occasions like this. Just a thought if you're looking for something special to mark the moment.
Hi EstherJ and welcome to the board. This is quite an old post so perhaps you could start a new one and tell us a bit about yourself? Have you started treatment yet or still going through the scans?
