Pet scan update

So confused my specialist nurse rang today to say Papworth may want mri scan on these 2 lung nodules and that lung consultant said the nodules are resectable.

So still don't know if secondary or what.

Why have mri scan after pet scan like I say confused

Hi Bud ,

Apparently infection can show up in the PET scan so they are maybe still trying to get a better image of them . Great to hear they are operable though. That’s great news in itself .

More waiting for you though.

Hi court I agree for waiting again but just thinking royal Papworth is amazing so I just got to be patient.

Got awful cold at the moment so hopefully that goes before mri scan.
