Hello,
I had a bowel screening done on Thursday and it shows I have 3 polyps, tumours but no biopsies were taken.
I have another appointment on 12th Nov with a specialist screening practioner to arrange a colonoscopy.
I'm so worried this is taking a while. The doctor who did the screening told me it was good I went. They look benign and try not to worry but I cannot help it. I'm so scared.
Thank you for your reply beanthequeen. I do feel for you and I hope it goes ok xx
How long have you had to wait from your bowel screening and appointment to discuss the colonoscopy?
Hi
I’ve just looked back in my diary to see if I can help. I had screening, followed with a pre-colonoscopy appointment within two weeks of each other. The doctor I saw 25th April referred me for a colonoscopy which what’d on 13th May. My results were discussed there and then. I hope this helps in some way. If I can be of any help at all please ask. I’m having surgery this Thursday!
Dear Jooles63,
I am sorry for not replying to your message sooner. Thank you for sending me the message, it does help Jooles63. I hope your operation went well and you are on the mend.
I had my pre colonoscopy appointment on Tuesday and my colonoscopy is next Thursday. I am very anxious about it but just want to get it over and done with. I'm anxious about the results.
