Hi guys
I had surgery 5 weeks ago today to remove the cancerous tumor and part of my large bowel. The last few days I have been experiencing very strange rumbling and gurgling of the left side of my stomach and this lasts all through the night. Is this normal as part of my recovery as it also hurts on the left hand side of my stomach/abdomen roughly where the drain was after surgery.
Secondly my male genitals are tender to touch and when I see it hurts slightly I hope this second one is not too gross but I just need to know if it's common after surgery and before chemo.
Regards
Mark
Hi Mark ,
I don’t know if it’s normal but my mum’s tummy continues to make very loud noises . I put it down to a shortened Colon . But who knows .
The other aspects I was wondering if you had a bit of an infection . Just given the fact your sore when you urinate . I would definitely give your GP a wee ring to see if they want to check that out .
Hope you get it sorted soon as it sounds very painful .
take care ,
