Symptoms? Worried Bleeding from skin tag?

Hi, I'm sorry to read of your concerns. 

As far as I can see skin tags can be left after a hemorrhoid removal procedure and can bleed after a bowel movement and the bleeding could be caused by even light straining but I'm not a medical person and should not be giving medical advice.

When you go to your doctors does he examine you by giving you a rectal examination to rule out any condition or is he relying on previous notes.

Although it is difficult to give an accurate diagnosis on an online forum you could repost the above in two different Macmillan pages in the hope that you will be given advice that may give you peace of mind.

The only other suggestion I have for you is to phone NHS 111 for advice and you maybe able to speak to the duty doctor.

It is worrying when you see blood on the toilet tissue and you need someone to give you a definite answer as to the cause

Out of interest are you eligible for bowel screening and if so have you performed the home test recently.

Hopefully when you contact the above they will address your concerns and give you some positive news.

Thank you so much for your reply they have done a check when I go in and send me off with cream they always say they can’t feel anything, but that it says in my notes about the skin tag x 

Also I’ve never had removal they said it’s old an old skin tag from a Hemorrhoid that basically removed itself
