vac pump

just wondering if anyone has had a vac pump.. kev has had one for almost 3 months now for an open wound which leaks from a pelvic cavity.. the exudate was bloody, thick and lots of it.. but for the last few days it has become lighter and more watery, and there is a lot less... does this mean the cavity and wound is healing at last??

Honestly know idea but it sounds like a step in the right direction to me . Less output sounds positive .

How have you both been surviving? You have had a long haul with that operation . Hoping he is healing just in time for summer .

Had one for about 3 to 4 weeks and the output does get less and less and this means it is healing and the good point is that this bit of my wound I have had no hernia problems.
