Well that's me finished all the treatment and post treatment, CT scan is all clear. I have a few questions about staging to ask but my oncologist was off today so have another appointment next week . All the same, at this time I am thought to be cancer free. Ready to rehabilitate myself soon, have been completely fatigued but getting stronger. Yipee.

Hi Ewok, today I was at an exercise class at the local gym. Allowed 10weeks free membership. Also doing one at Maggies, 5 weeks in. Slow progress for me, only now returning to feeling 'normal' fitness wise. Lots of fatigue, light headed and sore in back and hips. Today was good...would never have managed this a couple of weeks ago. Tbh, mood a bit low too. You don't return to 'normal' straight away it appears.

Anyway, just another part of the journey and things to get your head around. On my way up, all the same. Have a fitness regime in place and back eating normal diet. No issues at all with having a colostomy?

My hips and lower back get sore, partly my posture and also weak core, so I am told. So working on that too. Aye, bit of a physical wreck Joy

    How about yourself?

  • Good to hear from you @pepsie that sound like progress.... I’m not where I expected to be even though it’s 7 months.  I am irrigating 5 weeks tomorrow and not without difficulty but it is better than it was.  Have issues with back too and feels as though it’s fused together but only since surgery which was the same as yours I think...eLAPE. Would be good to PM if you’re ok with that?
