Hi everyone. I have been mildly anemic for a while now. Iron stores are fine but have low hemaglobin. I had a change in bowel habits a few weeks ago and have been getting abdo pain so my gp sent me a FIT, which came back negative but she has referred me to see a gastroenterologist, which isn’t until the end of September and then I will probably be waiting weeks for a colonoscopy. I can’t stop worrying. Thought I would join this amazing forum for support. I constantly feel nauseous and wiped out but not sure if that is down to anxiety. The waiting game is just awful isn’t it?
Yes 25 sessions of chemoradiation so now to wait and see if it’s shrunk or gone.
1 in 4 chance of not requiring surgery.
I completely understand your health anxieties especially having been through it years ago x my understanding is results in stool would definitely pick up blood and if over 10 they do further testing my husbands was off the scale
try and keep positive your seeing a consultant with a negative result so hopefully they can offer you reassurances
