Hi
so my mum has mets in liver and pancreas - looking at management with a regime of chemo infusion every 3 weeks with tablets for 2 weeks in between and then a week off - I suppose what I’m after is some hope that people can manage with this for a long time potentially and there can still be a quality of life? Just a lot to process and hard to understand how people can continue on that regime long term?
Sorry about that . I will try again .
Hi Annabelle_
You might find it helpful to have a look at Bowelcancer U.K. . They have some long term maintenance people using the forum and it might give you a boost .
This is a good plan your mum has . My mums original oncologist said a third of the people using chemo have no real side effects .
I wish your mum every success,
Court
