Hi everyone. So I’ve had some delightful news. My oncologist has told me instead of 6 months I will be having 3 meaning I finish my last cycle on Christmas Eve! I’m am so very happy about this. Just wondering about when I’m able to eat blue cheese and pate again! Anyone been given any advice on when a normal diet can resume and when I can get back to swimming? Thanks
Sorry that was very poorly written! Basically I’m having 3 months of chemo (Capox) rather than 6!
That’s fabulous news Darkmoor77 To be honest I was not told to avoid any foods during my chemo although my friend was told to avoid soft cheeses, pate and steak so it may depend on your health authorities view?
You could try posting in the Ask the Nurse section?
Take care
Karen x
Thank you! As you can see I’m prioritising the important things in my life like pate and cheese
Oh I wish I’d asked my oncologist the same as I could have managed swimming. Instead I’ve sat around like a potato!
Thank you! So excited for you, hope you have a wonderful swim x
