Hi
Well hubbies operation went well and early indications are good. Had his op on tuesday and can’t believe he’s coming home tomorrow. Is this a bit early?
Glad he’s coming home but am a little concerned as it seems a bit quick to me. Is there anything that we need to be aware of? What types of food should he be eating? How much exercise/walking is an acceptlevel, is he ok to be alone?
I know it’s loads of questions but just want to get him recovered and prepared for whatever may lie ahead.
Anyway, we now have a 2-3 week wait for the results.
Hi t24 welcome to the forum..They must think he has made enough of a recovery to enable him to come home..I imagine he may be tired which is to be expected. I think thar you nake a list of questions tonight and speak to someone on the ward with information particularly around diet. I would hope however hubby has had a chat before discharge with a dietician who may already have advised re this. Something written is always useful as you can refer back to it..I'm thinking that his exercise level will depend on his energy levels. However, it important that he tries to move around slowly to keep the circulation moving. We are here though for any worries you do have when he is home. .x
