Hi, I am 4 weeks post chemotherapy, however within the last week I am experiencing increased flatulence and mild upper abdominal pain. I had a extended right hemicolectomy 5 months ago followed by 3 months chemotherapy, is this normal? There has been no change in my bowel movements, no signs of blood in stools? I have contacted my health team and they appear unconcerned and said it's normal post chemotherapy however despite this reassurance I'm still anxious and fearful cancer has come back, has anyone experienced similar symptoms post chemotherapy and recovery? I was diagnosed stage 2 colon cancer in June 2024

Hi Carlos80,
I am also 4 weeks post chemo and experiencing the same thing. My op was about 6 months ago and I was also stage 2.
I am glad your team said it’s normal, that’s made me feel better.
Sounds like it’s fairly normal if we’re both experiencing it!
best wishes
