I have to have a ct scan on 15th July had one before but because I have had an op on my back yrs ago I'm dreading the ct scan as it makes me so uncomfortable. Any suggestions on how to cope would be greatly accepted. Basilcat
Hi Basilcat The CT scans tend to not last as long as an MRI for example but yes the tables do tend to be quite hard. Explain your concerns to the radiographers as I’m sure they’ll have dealt with lots of similar situations in the past and will have pillows and maybe foam shapes to help support you and make you comfortable
Thanks I dread having scans but I know they will try to make me comfortable but they can't stop me from getting pain. Is there anything I can do to lessen the pain
