How soon does the treatment start after treatment plan?
It depends what the plan is. Don't be surprised if you have to wait some weeks before anything starts and bear in mind that scan results can take a couple of weeks to be fully analysed and chemoradiotherapy can take a couple of months to finish working after the last dose. My surgeon said that more and more people are being identified as having colorectal cancer and the typical age range is getting lower. He didn't venture to suggest why this might be.
