Hello everyone and again thanks for all your support received
Firstly thanks for all the advice and tips with regards to the Moviprep, as I had gone into total mad woman mode about it. No it's not great but it wasn't as bad as I had imagined in my head.
Today I went to the Endoscopy Unit and was immediately taken after changing I was taken straight into the Endoscopy Unit as soon as I arrived, which meant I didn't disappear down that dark rabbit hole of fear and anxiety . The nurses and consultant were great, explaining everything to me and asked if I wanted sedation, which was a total positive from me. I explained that I do suffer from PTSD and severe anxiety and everyone was very reassuring and 'there' for me during both procedures.
I started off with my gastroscope, the consultant informed me immediately of everything he found, he firstly told me that I have serious gastritis but also other areas of inflammation of the which biopsies were taken from, results in approx four to six weeks.
Next came my major cause of concern, the Colonoscopy. I was given a sedative and entonox which did help me to relax somewhat. I was also told of everything he was finding, firstly he told me that I have perianal lesions, hyperplastic polyps and a 'loopy colon'. Biopsies were taken from all the findings. I will get my results within four to six weeks, is this an average wait time?
Obviously I am glad today is finished but waiting four to six weeks for all the biopsy results does feel like miles away to me. I am also going out to be referred on duty to my anaemia and ferritin levels being so low.
However I do thank everyone for the support I received whilst I was in full swing of having a meltdown and anxiety cycles.

Hi Cath aka mad German shepherd lady and good to hear that you’ve got them both over and done with. Hopefully they’ve erred on the high side with 4-6 weeks and they’ll come back earlier?
Please keep us posted?
Take care

Hi Karen
II did think that after my tests on Sunday, that I would have a definitive diagnosis and would know what I have to deal with. I do have to say a big thank you to the online community for their support in getting me to go for the tests as at one pont I was very tempted to cancel it thinking ignorance is bliss but with everyone's support got there and did it.
I didn't think I would have to wait four to six week for the biopsy results, as it does seem to me, a long time for typical me to worry and overthink about. They did give me some results immediately ie removing the large polyps and my "loopy colon" problem, typical loopy me having a loopy colon.
I really did think I would be fully equipped with a diagnosis and where I went to with that. So the waiting is going to really send my Anxiety Syndrome into overdrive.
But again thank you for your replies, they really mean so much to me.
