So, after getting Jay home yesterday in time for Christmas it now turns out I have the `dreaded lurgi` My voice has just about gone, I am sweating buckets I'm `snorting and snuffling` and bringing up all sorts of `unmentionable gunk` and it's coming out the other end too. This virus going around certainly picks its moments. Jay has been very quiet again today. Usually, he is the one who is doing all the prep for Christmas day but just decided today to sit and watch TV all day while I have been doing my best to get stuff ready, I do get though that this infection may still be working on him and once the antibiotics kick in, he'll feel better. Then I got a `Watts App` message from my cousin in the Isle of Wight apologising for not sending Christmas cards or anything today and how she was at A & E last week with chest pains only to be told she now has an irregular heartbeat and is being referred to a cardiologist. My sister is here for her annual stay with us for a couple of days over Christmas she does help slightly she takes the dog out for us- she just loves him, but she's lost a ring while she was out (it was my mums) she's always been going to get it downsized but never has. She lost it before and I found it here it keeps falling off her finger, but she'll go on and on and on about it now. This is what she does she even went back outside to see if she could find it and it's dark in case, she lost it outside. She was washing up dishes earlier so don't know if it's fell down the plughole but it's one of these things and she just can't let it go. So, Jay has gone to bed because she can get his back up when she starts that he asked me when she's leaving, and she's only been here a couple of hours. I think I can honestly say that this is the first year I just want Christmas over with usually on Christmas Eve I get all excited even though I'm 60 years old now I always look forward to watching Jay and everyone else opening up what I got them. I just hope everyone else's Christmas is a whole lot better than mine this year. Have a nice time everyone!
Vicky xx
